How long does a hair transplant take?

On the day of your procedure, we get started early. Patients are asked to arrive at around 7:30am, and from the moment you walk through the door the focus is on making you feel relaxed, comfortable and well looked after.

The morning begins with the consenting process — making sure you're fully informed and happy with everything before we proceed. We'll take photographs to document your starting point, which also become an important reference as your results develop over the coming months. And while all of that is happening, we make sure you're fed, watered and at ease.

Expect chocolate, plenty of water, and more than a few laughs along the way. We find that a relaxed patient makes for a better procedure — and we genuinely enjoy getting to know the people we work with.

From there the procedure itself gets underway and our team works carefully and methodically throughout the day. Most patients are finished and ready to head home by around 2:30 to 3:00pm, leaving with their aftercare kit, their instructions and — most importantly — the start of their hair restoration journey well and truly underway.
