Getting To and From the Clinic
Most patients travel to the clinic by public transport on the day of their procedure without any issues — and that's absolutely fine. Getting there is the easy part.
The journey home is where a little more planning pays off.

As part of your hair transplant journey before and after the procedure, we always advise patients to think carefully about how they're getting home. You'll be tired, your scalp will need protecting, and the last thing you want is to be standing on a busy tube platform or squeezing onto a rush hour bus.

Many patients choose to book a taxi or private hire car all the way home — and quite a few treat themselves to a first class train ticket on the way back. After a long day investing in yourself, that's a very reasonable decision. You deserve a comfortable, relaxed journey home.

Public transport isn't strictly off the table — taxis and even longer rail journeys are fine. But driving yourself home is something we strongly advise against. Whatever you choose, have it arranged in advance so you can leave the clinic, sit back and let your recovery begin.
